Through out the month, as an opening activity, the youth are invited to color and create unique designs using a process called Rangoli which uses a dot background or grid as a basis for forming the finished design.
Last Sunday the youth were also invited to create a Divinity Collage using pictures or words that describe or represent their idea of Spirit. Pictured above is Sofia who used words that lead to another word in a piece she titled "The path to Enlightenment" (she's 8).
Week after week I am filled up to overflowing with joy and wonder as I witness the natural brilliance of these amazing youth. All of the planning and preparation for teaching them, doesn't come close to the things they teach me!
Life is indeed GOOD.
